Midlands Family Business Awards

 

Family businesses account for around two out of three firms in the UK. As a family business ourselves, we know first-hand some of the unique challenges that come with running a family business, including succession planning and motivating key staff who are not family members.

We are strongly committed to the family business sector and to helping its leaders succeed in what can often be quite lonely roles.

In March 2010 we launched the first ever Midlands Family Business Awards to recognise and celebrate the successes and achievements of the region's most successful family businesses. As a not-for-profit initiative, the Awards raised an impressive £11,000 in the first two years for our charities supporting young people and young enterprise. Our 2012 charity is The Prince's Trust.

The winners and highly commended family businesses of the 2012 Midlands Family Business Awards were announced at the prestigious Awards Cermony and Dinner at Leicester's Curve on Thursday 8th November.
