Taking Family Business Futures to New Heights!
English mountaineer and alpinist, Kenton Cool, is the latest person to be confirmed as a speaker at the inaugural Family Business Futures conference at The City Rooms, Leicester, on 28 April.
Kenton, who has successfully climbed Mount Everest 11 times, became the first person to successfully send a Tweet from the Everest summit in 2011. He is one of the world’s leading high-altitude climbers and will be discussing his life, aspirations and how the support from his family has helped him to achieve some of his goals.
Having suffered setbacks, including shattering both heel bones in 1996, Kenton has gone on to become one of the world’s most sought after guides, even guiding Sir Ranulph Fiennes up the North Face of the Eiger before leading him to a successful Everest summit in 2009. He has been nominated for the prestigious Piolet d’Or and is a regular face in the media.
Annabel Prow, CEO of Wilsons and co-founder of Family Business Futures, added “We’re delighted to have Kenton with us and speaking at our first Family Business Futures conference. He attributes much of his success to the support of his family and it’ll be fascinating to hear about his various achievements and overcoming adversity.”
The Family Business Futures conference will take place at The City Rooms, Leicester on 28 April 2015. The event focuses on families in business and offers an opportunity to gain insight on growth, profitability, managing talent and brand development.
Delegate places at Family Business Futures Conference cost £95 + VAT and can be booked online at www.familybusinessfutures.co.uk
