John Prow joined Wilsons in June 1960 and has led the company through extended periods of growth and prosperity, making it one of the region's premier insurance and financial advisers. John has developed the business through innovative growth and acquisitions to build the business strategically over the years.
Annabel Jackson Prow
Chief Executive Officer
As CEO at Wilsons Annabel is responsible for existing client relationships, all financial and compliance matters and Wilsons’ relationship with providers. She is co-founder of the Midlands Family Business Awards and Family Business Futures, both not-for-profit initiatives created to support the family business sector.
Group Managing Director
As Group Managing Director, Charlotte is responsible for operations, business development and our excellent level of client service across the firm. She is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute in Nottingham and has several charitable interests outside of work.
As Deputy Chairman, Gary works alongside Charlotte and Annabel to develop and deliver the ongoing strategy for growth across the UK. He is a member of the Wilsons Group Holdings Board. In addition Gary runs a management consultancy business active in the retail and leisure industries and is a governor at Worksop College.
Mike leads the Broking Team at Wilsons, managing and nurturing our relationships with insurers. He is responsible for Wilsons' individual specialist programmes and policies. In addition, he provides regular updates and briefings to the team to maintain their awareness of insurance market trends and risk appetites.
Senior Financial Adviser
Pat specialises in providing financial advice to businesses and their owners including auto enrolment and pensions advice, business protection advice and wealth management guidance. Pat has several large blue chip clients and provides a broad range of guidance and advice to their directors and staff.
Ian Baguley ACII Dip PFS
Financial Adviser & Account Director
Ian is Financial Adviser in the Financial Services Division and looks after a number of our commercial insuranceclients in his role as an Account Director for the General Insurance Division. He has provided complete insurance and financial solutions for many companies, their directors and owners.
Simon Phillips Cert CII
Simon has over 25 years experience in the insurance sector and looks after a number of our commercial clients. He provides technical insurance and broking advice to businesses of all sizes in all industry sectors. Simon’s specialist area of expertise is managing property insurance portfolios.
Richard specialises in providing auto enrolment, pensions, investment and wealth management advice to individuals, including business owners, directors and entrepreneurs. Richard has a diverse range of private clients and provides a full range of financial advice and guidance.
Julie provides technical insurance and broking advice to commercial businesses of all sizes across all industry sectors. She is a specialist in professional indemnity insurance, dealing in particular with complex cases where cover is difficult to place. Many of Julie's clients are in the professional services sector, particularly architects and surveyors, where her knowledge and understanding is vital.
Mike Strong Cert CII is an Account Executive in the General Insurance Division. Mike has nearly 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry, most of which has been at International Brokers. He looks after a number of our major clients and he has particular expertise with complex businesses that benefit from his technical expertise and wide-ranging experience of commercial cases.
Mike Reed is now a Consultant to the General Insurance Division, providing technical insurance and broking support to the team. Mike also is a specialist in business continuity planning and management and insurance programme implementation in complex cases. He also trains our team to maintain their technical insurance skills.
